Hi, my name is Courtney- though many people know me as "Courtshoots."

Photography has always been my way of preserving the moments that matter most. I'm drawn to genuine connection, beautiful light, and the in-between moments that often become the most meaningful memories. My goal is to create images that feel timeless, natural, and unmistakably you.

Whether I'm photographing an intimate wedding, an engagement session along the coast, or branding imagery, I strive to make every session feel relaxed and enjoyable. I believe the best photographs come from real moments, not forced poses, and I love creating an environment where you can simply be yourself.

How it started

I began my photography career at the age of 16 when I worked the cash register at Roberts Camera Store in Indianapolis, IN. There, I bought my first camera and couldn’t stop shooting. Since then, I’ve executed countless photoshoots and now specialize in portraiture. In the summer of 2019, I traveled to Norway with National Geographic and learned under National Geographic photojournalist Nick Cobbing. In the summer of 2020, I began collaborating with mother agent Lisa Sauce as a test shooter for models looking to get signed to Chicago agencies.
